Unlocking the potential of brain and health data on a global scale requires streamlining, a responsible data governance process. The BRIDGE project is dedicated to fostering collaboration and advancing cutting-edge research while safeguarding individual privacy and data protection. Whether you are a researcher, healthcare professional, or industry expert, our mission is to create a secure and transparent ecosystem for data sharing and innovation.

Join us in revolutionizing brain and health research through responsible data governance. Together, we can create a brighter and healthier future for all.

Global mental health research requires sharing biological and behavioral measures across international cohorts to accelerate equitable development of treatments for all peoples. While brain and mental health research strives to become international, the lack of transparency and navigability of existing legal, ethical, and sociocultural guidance imposes barriers to data sharing.

Funded by the Wellcome Trust, the Brain Research International Data Governance & Exchange (BRIDGE) project aims to create responsible and sustainable governance frameworks for data sharing, building toward our long-term goal of forming a sustainable global consortium to develop, operate, update and disseminate a robust brain and mental health international data governance framework (IDGF).

BRIDGE will bring together experts in law, ethics, technology, and people with lived experience (PWLE) in mental health from around the world to share knowledge and expertise, facilitating breakthrough discoveries in brain health research.
