BRIDGE leadership is happy to announce that we will be hosting our first Global Workshop on September 22-23, 2024 in Austin, TX, USA! 

We are excited to announce our first Global Workshop, which will take place on the University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas, USA on September 22-23, 2024. We will gather with project leaders, ambassadors, and diverse stakeholders from around the world. 

The Latin America Regional Committee, headed by Dr. Fernanda Tovar Moll, will host its first regional workshop in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Latin America ambassadors, along with other experts in neuroethics, neurolaw, neurotechnologies and lived experience, will convene to discuss region-specific issues in brain data governance and work toward designing best practices for IDG.

BRIDGE welcomes four regional experts to join the project as ambassadors. These individuals will provide key contributions in the areas of law, ethics, technology, and lived experience. The ambassadors reside in South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya.

We are looking for a postdoc or data scientist with expertise in neuroimaging and/or computer science to join the Pestilli lab at The University of Texas at Austin. The postdoc will interact directly with multiple magnetic resonance imaging datasets from around the world.
