In December 2025, we hosted a global workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa with more than 50 participants. It was a key international convening, funded by the Wellcome Trust, to help shape global standards for responsible data sharing in brain and mental health research.

In April 2025, BRIDGE hosted its second Africa Regional Workshop in Marrakesh, Morocco.

We are excited to announce the Second Annual BRIDGE Global Workshop, which will take place from December 5-7, 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Latin America BRIDGE Workshop took place on June 29, 2024 during Brain Congress 2024 – Brain, Behavior and Emotions; and on June 30, at IDOR Rio de Janeiro.

BRIDGE European leader, Ricardo Chavarriaga, will be discussing responsible AI innovation at the AI for Good 2024 Summit in Geneva, Switzerland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic fellow to join us at UT Austin for a project funded by the Wellcome Trust.

This event includes a roundtable discussion on "Public and Private Investment in Science and Innovation” tomorrow, featuring distinguished representatives from funding and research agencies across Brazil.

This session will focus on the progress of neurotechnology in the broadest sense and its potential applications for improving human function in the near future, such as improving performance in athletic, academic, and professional environments.

We are excited to announce our first Global Workshop, which will take place on the University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas, USA on September 22-23, 2024. We will gather with project leaders, ambassadors, and diverse stakeholders from around the world.
